Time for a sit down.... again

Mom came in and sat us all down for the "talk" again....we know that she loves us to pieces and she plays with us and has fun pampering us, but she still feels we need another member of the family....we were told today she put her hand in the air to rescue a female English bulldog from a puppy mill. We are all for taking a girl out of the environment of making puppies for some person trying to make a living on the backs of dogs, but don't we fill mom with enough joy and happiness???

No, that's okay, really. We are three and wresting will be more fun if we have 4!!! Keep your fingers crossed that mom's dream of owning an English will come true!

Quiet around here

You can't believe how quiet a house can become when you have five dogs. Down sizing from 7 has made a huge difference.

It has been a few weeks since Xander moved out with Alex and the reports are good. Xander has traveled to Mt. Airy and proved to be a fine gentleman on his best behavior. Aunt Jane reports he did well at her place and Alex is so proud of him in the apartment. Apparently no more signs of trapping roommates in the bedroom.

Uma also went to her forever home in August and the initial reports are positive from Maryland as well. Uma's been give a "sun room" to bask in during the day and is loving life being a spoiled little princess.

Deuce, Chilly and Jack have adapted well to the new changes in the house. Nakita and Lucas have more space in the kitchen to spread out and play in the water bowl.

Life is good here in New Bern, North Carolina. Hope it is where you are too!!!
