Happy Summer

It has been a wonderful start to summer here in North Carolina. A bit hot outside for our taste but the air conditioning vents inside are on the floor which are nice to sit upon when it's time to cool down.

One early evening we ventured to the water bowl on the front porch and found a guest taking a swim. Chilly wanted to have it as a snack, but I would not let her. I'm the protective one so I just had to take a sneak peak and a little sniff and then let the toad go.

Pictured here is our new household guest. Her name is Uma and she flew in from Missouri. She's made herself cozy and comfortable in dad's arms. We have not personally been introduced yet but when I prance around her crate she gets a little disturbed. I'm a little energetic sometimes so mom probably won't be letting me out with her too soon or too often. Mom's the boss, but it's kind of disappointing that I can't welcome Uma like I want to....

Keep your eyes open and check in often, it looks like it will be an active summer for us! Hope you're in for some summer lovin' and lots of fun too!

Another foster

It's time to bring in another foster. This one is for French Bulldog rescue. Her name is Uma. She'll be flying in from Missouri, courtesy of Jack's foster mom and dad, (she's coming out with Jeff) and Alex is going to assist in bringing her here.

We haven't learned much about her except that she has a bad case of worms :( YUK!

The birds and the bees

...and the butterflies are my new favorite things. Summer is upon us in NC and I'm loving what has come to life since the spring. I'm chasing birds, sitting in clover with yellow and black bees and trying to catch butterflies....mom laughs cuz I haven't had any luck yet.

As for the English, mom and dad said we have to wait. Timing isn't right. Cousin Xander came back to stay with us for a few months, so for now, we're a happy pack just the six of us.

We found an English...

We've been waiting and wondering and now we are just waiting....Mom announced last night she found a wonderful sounding English boy that would complete our little pack. She came home tonight and said the timing isn't quite right with the upcoming travels and all.

Dad saw pictures tonight and says Smedly (that's the English's name) comes from some Marine history. You know dad likes that being a Marine himself.

Mom says she is keeping fingers crossed that we're the right home and that Smedly would like some brothers and a sister. Keep your eyes on us, we'll keep you posted.

Today is my birthday and I had a special treat shared with my special siblings.

Happy Birthday to me

It's time to celebrate....well I actually started without you...It's my third birthday and I am havin' a ball. Who knew getting older could be so much fun. Today I'm hangin' out with family, getting my favorite meal with a few strawberries and some blueberry treats.

Saturday baby brother turns 1 and mom promises a bigger celebration for both birthays.

I can't wait!!! That means new toys....Yay!

Hi guys. Its me Jack. I snuck in while I had the chance. I'm not allowed around the computer keyboard so don't tell anyone you saw me here, okay.

I am just soooo proud of myself I had to share this new experience. I learned how to jump on the bed. Having an older brother is kind of helpful when it comes to getting into mischief. He's a good teacher and I tend to follow his lead and today it literally took me to new heights. I fell the first two times, but then I watched Deuce and got the hang of it real fast. Now with a little running start, Ican jump into the comfort of mom's down comforter.

Life is gooooooood!!!!
